3rd Alakajam!: Treasure Chest #66

What’s a “Treasure Chest” article?

It’s a short text and video compilation of three to five small jam games we really liked for some reason (like core concept, artwork, effort etc.).

“Pandemia” by Benjamin Soule.

In this puzzle game, you play as a pathogen and have to find the optimal new host group turn by turn. For example, if you choose ‘Infect all dogs’, all dogs in your immediate vicinity will be infected by you. However, you are not alone on the field: One up to three opponents will make the infection process difficult for you and will also try to exclude you as much as possible. Tactical thinking is needed here! >>PLAY

You do not always reap what you sow. Sometimes you can be very well prepared, but the external circumstances just worsen everything. An arbitrary act can drag us down massively and not only make us sad, but also depressive. This jam game is about exactly this topic and knows perfectly how to highlight the despair in such situations.

Through the power of sunlight, the plant in this tower defense game can always grow new strands and flowers. Three of the four different flowers are weapons, while the fourth variety represents a sunflower, which provides for a further energy increase. A minimalist and almost meditative game for your next break!
