Bitsy Jam (Ocean): forgotten depths

“forgotten depths” by Mark Wonnacott.

“forgotten depths” is the fourth part of a series of Bitsy games by Mark Wonnacott. Even though the previous parts already seemed interesting, it is still this title that has captivated me the most. The elaboration of a lost ruin as the last anchor point of a defunct civilization has been so terrific that I actually succumbed for some minutes to some kind of atmospheric immersion.

Your own imagination can find an activation point here to fill in the loose ends of the story. Who lived here? What are the skull-like, pink, hovering creatures? Are they spirits or are they a representation of damnation itself? After all, the ocean can not just be a source of life, but also a massive danger, as “forgotten depths” proves. >>PLAY
