Ludum Dare 40: Clicker Thingie

“Clicker Thingie” by Luis Díaz Peralta.

“Click things, watch numbers get big, ignore the rest.”

“Clicker Thingie” is a short but powerful critique about how we as humans treat our planet in the form of a clicker game. It uses the concept of ‘The higher the number is, the better you play’ to show us how we can hurt others with our avarice. By clicking on the big fish, it will drop some of its scales. Those are very valuable, so we have to organize our means to exploit it as best as we can. The game does not get harder the more we have, but it definitely gets worse, as you will see. >>PLAY
