What’s a “Treasure Chest” article?

It’s a short text and video compilation of three to five small jam games we really liked for some reason (like core concept, artwork, effort etc.).

If you absolutely need to get the last seat in an almost full elevator, then you should not just push forward… This would be very rude! Much more polite it is to just knockout the other people. In this little beat’em-up game, you’ll need to find an unrestrained elevator on each floor, making sure you can still get in on it. But beware: Liftboys can slow you down and if a chubby gentleman is standing in your path then you have to punch him away before you can continue running. Thanks to the wonderful pixel art and the very smooth animations, each stroke is a pure pleasure.

A little penguin has to freeze all the tiles in his path, but sometimes it just does not come to every one of them. So how can the little bird manage to freeze them anyway? By standing behind an already icy spot, taking a strong breath and creating an ice breath that can freeze all the tiles lying in the direction of the breath, of course! Well then, into the arctic puzzle adventure!

In this audio puzzle game, you need to configure two to four piano robots so that they play harmoniously a specific piece at the same time. Especially you have to make sure that the arms of one robot do not get in the way of another robot’s arms. But hey, if it happens that you make a mistake (and it will, believe me), then do not be annoyed by the snippy comments from the audience. You will make it!
